What We Do

Description of Services

Initial Consultation

An initial consultation consists of an evaluation of your company’s operational and administrative procedures. During the evaluation process, we will discuss your current challenges and goals. After a review of the evaluation, clients receive recommendations of services that will best aid in achieving goals.

Provider Support

(Child Caring Institutions/Child Placing Agencies Only)

RBWO Provider Application
– Complete application on behalf of company, assist with gathering all needed documents to accompany application package, put together binders with table of contents to submit information, and deliver application packages to state offices (DJJ and/or DFCS) or send via USPS utilizing a return receipt/delivery confirmation method with signature.

Zoning/Licensing
– Complete letter and application package for zoning/licensing office.

ORCC Application
– Complete application, compile documents requested from client and assist with the development of other documents needed, and deliver package to ORCC via USPS utilizing a return receipt/delivery confirmation method with signature.

Program Development
– Program development will assist your company with answering the following key questions: What are the agency’s or organization’s capabilities and limitations? What resources and expertise are available for planning and staff training, and how can existing resources be redirected at little or no cost?
– Development and/or update of policies and procedures according to RBWO and ORCC Standards.
– Facility inspection to ensure compliance with ORCC Standards to include food and meds.
– File audit/inspection to ensure compliance with ORCC Standards. This also includes setup and filing system.

Utilization Review Assistance
– Provide assistance with typing your guide, input of information, and staff preparation for utilization review.

Program Forms
– Provide program forms that will meet compliance with State Standards. Also, assistance with modifying current program forms.

Technical Support 

Assist your company with answering questions in regards to ORCC, DFCS/DJJ policies and procedures, resident file and facility compliance, zoning/licensing, fire inspections, and/or any other questions that you may have.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services

SGH is a provider for Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies. We Serve all 159 counties and offer several services including a School-to-Work Program which are services we offer high school students. It is the mission of SGH to provide quality and effective support to enable the persons that we serve the ability to realize their full potential breaking down societal boundaries not focusing on socioeconomic status, physical and/or mental disabilities. We are dedicated to each person’s success by making each person feel welcomed and valued. Our team is creative and innovative in providing an experience to the clients that we serve.

Contract Preparation/RFP

Complete and Prepare contracts for some local, state, and federal agencies to include application completion and supporting documentations (provided by company). This also includes bids through State Procurement Process (Team GA Marketplace).

Staff Development (CCI/CPAs only)

Conduct State mandated trainings necessary for your staff to be productive and have knowledge in various areas. Trainings are hands on with material included. This will help your agency to remain in compliance with RBWO Standard 13.23 that states that CCI and CPA staff with direct child care or case support responsibilities including direct care staff, human services professionals and case support workers and supervisors must participate in a minimum of twenty-four (24) clock hours of annual training in issues related to the employee’s job assignment and to the types of services provided by the agency. The training requirement applies to part-time or contract employees who work at least 20 hours per week. Participation in training on confidentiality and Mandated Reporting is required for all staff annually. ESI, First Aid and CPR do not count toward the annual training requirement.

Editorial Services

Review and evaluate documents for clerical and/or grammatical errors.

Quality Assessments (required by DFCS and DJJ)

This allows the agency to determine strengths and weaknesses as well as develop a plan to evaluate performance, as in the delivery and quality of services to clients.

Mobile Notary Services

Notary Public has authority within any county in the State of Georgia to:

  • Witness or attest signature or execution of deeds and other written instruments; Take acknowledgments; Administer oaths and affirmations in all matters incidental to their duties as commercial officers and all other oaths and affirmations which are not by law required to be administered by a particular officer; Witness affidavits upon oath or affirmation; Take verifications upon oath or affirmation; Make certified copies, provided that the document presented for copying is an original document and is neither a public record nor a publicly recorded document certified copies.
